Category 02
Study Visas
A student authorisation is issued primarily for study. Depending on the country and length of study, it may take the form of a long-stay visa, a residence permit or both. Work alongside study and any post-study option are governed by applicable EU and national rules and do not create a guaranteed employment or permanent-residence route.

Category 03
Tourist Visas
Where required, a Schengen short-stay visa may authorise a temporary visit of up to 90 days in any 180-day period for the stated purpose. It does not guarantee entry, authorise employment or create a right to long-term residence.
